Terms of Use
Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using Paperlight. By downloading or using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. License
Frozzdev grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Paperlight on any Apple device you own or control, subject to the Apple Standard EULA and these terms.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense any part of the app or its content.
2. Purchases
Paperlight is free to download with 5 complimentary scans. An optional one-time in-app purchase of $9.99 unlocks unlimited scans permanently.
- One-time purchase. There is no subscription. The unlock is associated with your Apple ID and can be restored on any device you own using the "Restore Purchases" button.
- Refunds. All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Frozzdev has no ability to process refunds directly.
- Price changes. We reserve the right to change the price of the unlock at any time. Any price change will not affect purchases already made.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use Paperlight only for lawful purposes. You must not use the app to scan, reproduce, or distribute documents in violation of applicable copyright, privacy, or other laws.
Frozzdev is not responsible for the content of documents you scan or for how you use the resulting PDFs.
4. Intellectual property
Paperlight, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of Frozzdev and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
5. Privacy
Paperlight collects no personal data. See our Privacy Policy for the complete details.
6. Third-party services
Paperlight uses Apple frameworks (VisionKit, PDFKit, StoreKit, iCloud Key-Value Store) subject to Apple's terms and privacy policies. Frozzdev has no control over Apple's services.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
Paperlight is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Frozzdev does not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with any specific device or iOS version.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Frozzdev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Paperlight, including but not limited to loss of data or documents.
Frozzdev's total liability to you for any claim arising under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of Paperlight after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect when the terms were last revised.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Frozzdev is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
