Bloom stores all data locally on your device. We do not collect personal information, do not run advertising, and do not sell or share your data with third parties. The app is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind.
1. Who We Are
Bloom — Newborn Feeding Tracker ("Bloom", "the App") is developed and published by Frozzdev ("we", "us", "our"), an independent software developer. You can reach us at [email protected].
This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with your use of the App. By using Bloom, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
Bloom is designed to work entirely on your device. The data you enter — including baby names, feeding logs, diaper entries, sleep records, and pump sessions — is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device storage. We do not transmit this data to any server we operate.
We do not collect:
- Names, email addresses, or any account credentials
- Location data
- Device identifiers for advertising or tracking purposes
- Health data beyond what you explicitly enter into the App
- Contacts, photos, or any other data from your device
Apple may collect anonymised diagnostics and usage data through standard iOS frameworks (e.g. crash reports) subject to your device's privacy settings and Apple's own Privacy Policy. We have no access to data that could personally identify you through these mechanisms.
3. How We Use Information
All data you enter into Bloom is used solely to provide the App's features to you on your device. We use it to:
- Display your feeding, diaper, and sleep logs
- Estimate next feed times on the home dashboard
- Generate daily and timeline summaries
- Support multiple baby profiles
We do not use your data for advertising, analytics profiling, machine learning, or any purpose beyond operating the App.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data resides on your device in Apple's secure app sandbox. It is subject to your device's lock screen and encryption settings. If you use iCloud Backup, your app data may be included in your personal iCloud backup — this is governed by Apple's iCloud Terms and Privacy Policy, not ours.
Deleting the App from your device will permanently erase all data associated with it. We have no ability to recover deleted app data.
While we have designed Bloom to handle your data carefully, no method of on-device storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of information stored on your device.
5. Children's Privacy
Bloom is intended for use by parents, caregivers, and adults. You may enter information about your infant or child as part of normal app use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 directly, and the App does not provide features for children to create accounts or submit personal information themselves.
Information about babies entered by parents remains stored locally on the parent's device and is not accessible to us.
6. Third-Party Services
Bloom is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple's standard platform services — including the App Store, StoreKit, and iOS system frameworks — are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy, which is separate from this document.
We do not integrate third-party advertising networks, analytics SDKs, social login providers, or any other third-party data processors into Bloom.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
BLOOM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FROZZDEV EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Bloom is a personal convenience tool for logging baby care activities. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and is not a substitute for professional healthcare guidance. Nothing in the App should be interpreted as clinical, diagnostic, or medical advice of any kind.
You are solely responsible for how you use the information displayed in the App. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional — such as your paediatrician or midwife — regarding your baby's feeding, health, and development. Do not make medical decisions based solely on data logged in Bloom.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FROZZDEV SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF BLOOM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: LOSS OF DATA, PERSONAL INJURY, HARM TO AN INFANT OR CHILD, RELIANCE ON APP-GENERATED ESTIMATES OR SUMMARIES, OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, EVEN IF FROZZDEV HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of Bloom after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
For material changes, we will provide notice through the App or the App Store listing where reasonably practicable.
